Both staff and students at Bishop Challoner Catholic College in Kings Heath, Birmingham, are embracing the issues of climate change – they have been awarded an Eco basic Award, and have inspired others in their community to be interested in sustainability. Quite a feat in a "concrete jungle"! Amongst their sustainable activities was a mini Copenhagen summit they held in their school, and they have also worked with local businesses to plan a greenhouse made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles!
